Director of Business Development

ThingsWeCare is a boutique digital design agency based in Los Angeles and New York City. We help small business clients create elevated online presence. We are hiring for a part-time, contract-based and commission-based Director of Business Development remotely.


  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, especially in new business development
  • High level of proficiency in written communication
  • Passion (and/or experience) in creative sectors (marketing, advertising, design, digital etc.)
  • Excellent client communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to close deals and manage client relationships
  • Startup experience is especially valuable

Job Descriptions

  • Pitch to potential clients
  • Lead client discovery meetings
  • Liaise with existing clients and manage day-to-day relationships
  • Communicate regularly with Founder and CEO on project status
  • Expand the agency’s client rosters

We operate on a fully commission based model. We offer a 10% share of each closed project. This is a PART-TIME role.
